ABOUT ME:

Hi all! I'm She. Welcome to my UBP14 Post! I've been participating for several years now and I always have such fun doing so! I'm kind of a poser, though, because I'm not an official mommy. I do, however, have an adorable 2-year-old nephew named Simon whom I love dearly. That counts, right? In an effort to meet other bloggers like myself, here is a bit about me and the things I like to do. :)

I'm a 36-year-old redhead who sells insurance with her degree in Musical Theatre. I still keep my feet wet in the local theatre world, performing and choreographing musicals when I find one that interests me. I live with my boyfriend of 3 years, our 2 cocker spaniels and our golden doodle. I'm visiting NYC in mid-April, attending my first ever writing workshop! Did I mention I get to see my theatre friends while there??!!

On my personal blog, I write about mental health and trauma issues, mostly. On this blog, I review books and speak of all things bookish. Although I am religious, I do not tend to read blogs focused solely on religion or blogs focuses solely on family (as I said - I'm not a mommy). I don't mind the occasional post about these subjects, but I'm more interested in reading what you as a person have to say about life. If we have anything in common (like reading, writing, blogging, performing, singing, acting, dancing, Broadway, alternative music (Beck, STP, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Fiona Apple), rom coms and Christopher Guest movies, TV shows (like Veronica Mars, Pretty Little Liars, The Ringer, Go On), dogs, mental health and/or trauma struggles) please leave me a comment and follow me. What Is The Ultimate Blog Party?The Ultimate Blog Party is an annual blogging event, hosted here at 5 Minutes for Mom, where several hundred bloggers join together in a huge week-long, blog-hopping, commenting and tweeting extravaganza to meet others, grow their networks, have fun and win prizes!

The official party lasts one week – this year April 4th through 11th. But the action starts now and continues throughout the event and afterward. Within that one week we will essentially generate a jam-packed directory of awesome, active bloggers across several different categories.
