Rock superstar Asher Corbin is back in Heart's Ease. And he's not alone. This time he's brought the entire cast and crew for his upcoming film debut to the small town for a retreat back in time to the Regency period.

Grace Nolan is thrilled to go to an honest-to-goodness Regency ball. But there she finds herself at the mercy of her deepest fantasy: a scandalous rake fresh out of the pages of her favourite historical romances.

When Grace claims not to recognize the dashing celebrity, Asher seizes the opportunity to step out of his persona and explore life out of the spotlight. But when she finds out his secret, her response plunges them into a game of seduction neither had expected to find.

This was a very enjoyable story. Very British, which I loved. It was a sweet romance in which a rockstar gets to go back to the roots of the real him and a quiet woman gets to dabble in her favorite regency activities and break out of her sexual shell. Oh, and they find love. :)

Grace honestly doesn't recognize Asher Corbin when he's in town to film a regency movie. She meets him as Ted (his real name) and begins to get to know him on a deeper level. Ted is immediately intrigued by Grace but not for the usual reasons he finds himself falling for women. She's different than all of the rest and he wants to spend all his free time in Heart's Ease getting to know her. That won't be easy, because Grace won't even let him kiss her. She wants the perfect kiss and is afraid anything short of that will mar her memories of her time with Ted. Can Ted convince her to take a chance on him and will Ted take a chance on himself? He's spent so many years cultivating the Asher image that he wonders if that's who he truly is. Or, is he really the Ted who adores Grace?

This is a story about personal evolution and finding your match in unexpected places.
