Hi all! I'm She a newbie book blogger although I'm not new to blogging in general. I like to read coming-of-age stories, whether YA, New Adult or Contempory. I also like memoirs. I'm in need of a good book review rating system. If you have any pointers, please post a comment! I need all the help I can get in that area! I just read Austenland: A Novel by Shannon Hale. I hate to say it, but although I loved the book concept, I liked the movie version better.

I found it really hard to make my rating system too and I am still not happy with it. I think its best to look around at other rating systems and keep it simple :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for adding me to the list :) I appreciate it and will def. get do this soon.
ReplyDeleteRating systems are tough, but I just use the simple 5 star system. I don't really have a breakdown of criteria for each star given, I just go with what I feel like the book deserves.
I don't like the typical 5 star ratings at all, find it hard to put my feelings about a book in 1-5 stars and 3 stars for some is already considered a bad review. So I dont have a rating system at the moment. But I also heard that Google searches more easily pick up your blog if you do have a rating system.
